Tim is a business attorney at McNees. He is a member of the Firm’s Corporate & Tax Group and also practices in the Public Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, Securities, State and Local Tax, Alcoholic Beverage and Liquor License, Municipal Recovery and Public-Private Partnerships groups.


Tim maintains an extensive business practice, which includes:

  • Structuring taxable and tax-exempt revenue bond and general obligation bond financings on behalf of municipal issuers and nonprofits for a variety of capital projects, including manufacturing facilities, hospitals and other health care facilities, parking facilities, schools and higher education institutions and water and sewer projects
  • Planning and compliance with respect to Pennsylvania business, personal and property taxes, including representation before the administrative boards of the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue and the courts of the Commonwealth
  • Advising startup and well established businesses on a variety of issues including entity selection, formation, tax planning, investment funding, general contract review, mergers & acquisitions, securities, and the dissolution and wind-up process


Tim also serves as counsel to the Firm’s political action committee, and advises businesses and political organizations on matters of lobbying disclosure and campaign finance reporting.
