Samuel practices in the Labor and Employment, Food Industry, Injunction and Liquor License Groups in the firm's Columbus, Ohio office.
His practice concentrates on general labor and employment litigation, arbitration, and mediation. Additionally, Samuel regularly counsels clients regarding various employment and personnel matters, including issues that arise under the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act and many other federal and state statutes dealing with employment. He also counsels clients regarding drug testing policies, sexual harassment, wage-hour matters, protecting trade secrets and confidential corporate materials, and the drafting and enforcement of non-compete/nondisclosure agreements.
Samuel is an experienced litigator with over sixteen years experience in representing employers and professionals in all Ohio and federal courts, as well as a number of regulatory agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Ohio Civil Rights Commission, the Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the State Employment Relations Board.
He also regularly speaks on a variety of personnel issues at local and regional seminars.
