Steve is Chair of the Employee Benefits Group.
He provides advice and counsel to clients regarding all aspects of employee benefits programs, including the design, implementation and operation of tax-qualified retirement plans, welfare benefit plans and executive compensation programs (including employment and termination agreements, deferred compensation arrangements, supplemental executive retirement plans and equity-based compensation programs).
Steve regularly advises clients regarding fiduciary and risk management issues, the employee benefits aspects of mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, and assists clients in developing newly integrated employee benefits programs. He also serves as counsel to Taft-Hartley multi-employer pension and welfare benefit funds and regularly advises clients regarding other collectively bargained retirement and welfare benefit programs.
