The current National Labor Relations Board has aggressively sought to make it easier for
unions to organize employee groups. This 2-hour session is designed for both union and
non-union employers and will cover:
- The NLRB’s new posting requirement
- Recent developments that will make it easier for unions to win representation elections
- The controversial Boeing case
- Making sense of NLRB pronouncements on social media in the workplace
- An update on Weingarten rights and other NLRB issues that can affect non-union employers
- Organizing update: Where are unions having success and where are they not
- An ounce of prevention: how employers can reduce the risk of unionization and prepare in
advance for organizing campaigns
