Helen practices in the firm's Real Estate and Appellate and Post-Trial Practice Groups.
Helen is our lead litigation attorney for real estate matters. She advocates for clients in controversies pending before municipal boards, trial and appellate courts, arbitrators and mediators. Her practice encompasses zoning and land development issues, lease disputes, and title challenges. Helen also handles real estate tax assessment appeals for commercial and investment property owners.
Prior to focusing her practice in real estate litigation, Helen actively litigated numerous types of business disputes, in the fields of environmental, employment, tax, contract, business tort, real estate, insurance and construction law. She began her legal practice with a large law firm in Washington D.C. in 1990, and joined McNees in 1996.
Helen is a native of Central Pennsylvania; born and raised in York.
