They also learned to identify and avoid the legal pitfalls that have put some businesses at risk.

Attendees joined us for a tour and talk with Ruth Koup, Founder and CEO of Dress For Success South Central PA. Women are referred to the organization by partner non-profit programs and government agencies, including homeless shelters, immigration services, and domestic violence shelters that offer training and job ready programs. Each Dress For Success client received one suit and available accessory items for her job interview and was offered the opportunity to return when she gets the job for more separates to start her "working wardrobe."

The concept of mentoring is not new; in fact, it has its roots in Greek mythology. But recently, there have been promising new twists to this time-honored approach to preparing people for positions of increasing responsibility.
