Diane is Chair of the Construction Law Group.
She represents various segments of the construction industry. One of her main interests is the structuring of large construction projects. This sphere of work encompasses the counseling of owners in various methods of project delivery systems that are available. Diane works with others in the Firm to evaluate financing options and assist in securing grants, loans and other economic incentives offered by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She has been successful in structuring certain projects so as to procure all building materials tax free.
Drafting and negotiating contracts with design professionals, construction firms and consultants are an important part of the process and Diane's work. Her availability and counseling until project completion helps to ensure a successful completion of a project. Diane actively represents general contractors, construction managers, specialty contractors and design professionals. She assists them with contracts and any construction disputes.
Diane has lectured on alternative dispute resolution, lien claims, prevailing wage application, project delivery methods and the avoidance of claims through proper contracting.
