Dan is co-chair of the Financial Services and Public Finance Group.
His practice includes a broad range of tax-exempt bond, public finance and corporate finance law, focusing on commercial lending and business transactions, banking and finance, public finance, tax-exempt bonds and other capital markets transactions, and real estate matters.
Dan has represented numerous institutional, business and individual clients, including municipalities, economic development authorities, municipal authorities, hospital authorities, other special purpose public authorities, international, national, regional and community banks and financial institutions, real estate developers, colleges, universities, healthcare institutions, nonprofit senior living and retirement care companies and other large and small businesses in a wide range of tax-exempt debt financings, syndicated and participated lending transactions, structured finance and other commercial and corporate transactional matters.
In the area of public finance, Dan has served as bond counsel, underwriter's counsel, letter of credit bank or other credit enhancement provider's counsel, issuer's counsel and conduit borrower's counsel in a wide variety of general obligation and revenue bond or note financing transactions, including interest rate swaps and other derivatives products.
Previously, he was a partner in a large Philadelphia-based law firm and a large Pittsburgh-based law firm.
