Dana is an attorney in the Litigation group and also practices in the Financial Services, Injunction, and Insurance Recovery and Counseling groups. She represents commercial and business clients in a wide variety of disputes, including contract challenges and questions regarding shareholder and corporate rights. She also assists clients in obtaining and defending against injunctive relief.
Dana represents clients in loan and credit workouts, collections, and bankruptcy. For the insurance group, Dana assists clients in insurance recovery cases regarding the denial of benefits under life insurance policies and the denial of underinsured and uninsured motorist coverage.
Dana also regularly counsels private property owners in eminent domain matters. Dana has experience in defending clients in both state and federal condemnation actions. Dana has successfully secured the constitutional guarantee of payment of just compensation for the taking of property and damages to the remainder property caused by the condemnation. She has additionally assisted clients in asserting inverse condemnation claims where the condemning authorities' activities resulted in a taking of private property without formal condemnation proceedings. Dana also has experience asserting the rights of public entities under the Eminent Domain Code.
Dana is a former extern to Chief Judge Yvette Kane of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
