Curt is Chair of the Oil and Gas Group, and practices in the Transportation, Distribution and Logistics Group and also in Environmental Law and Toxic Tort, and Food Industry Groups.
His oil and gas practice includes counseling producers, service companies and landowners on the full spectrum of work, from leasing to seismic surveying, well permitting, water acquisition, fracing, well completion, and production. His transportation practice includes counseling motor carriers, logistics providers, and consumers on legal issues of freight transportation, the Carmack Amendment, bills of lading, and transportation agreements, as well as compliance with the motor carrier safety regulations. Curt regularly defends commercial vehicle companies in accident litigation and serious motor vehicle violations.
